András Adorján was born in Budapest, grew up in Denmark and has been living in Munich since 1974. Dentist diploma in Copenhagen 1968. Flute studies with Aurèle Nicolet and Jean-Pierre Rampal. Laureat of international flute competitions and principal flutist of important european orchestras.

From 1987 professor in Cologne, since 1996 in Munich. With more than 100 recordings and as editor of a unique and extensive encyclopedia „Lexikon der Flöte“ he is today one of the most prominent flutists of his generation.

桐朋学園大学を首席で卒業。J. モルナール氏に師事。後、アメリカに留学し、M. グランジャニーの各氏に師事。1970年、イスラエル国際ハープ･コンクール3位入賞。
1972年、「篠﨑史子ハープの個展I」を開催（同シリーズは、2022年までに15回開催された）。1973年、小澤征爾指揮のベルリン･フィル定期演奏会に出演したほか、ヨーロッパの各フェスティヴァルに出演。1974年文化庁在外研修員として西ベルリン、パリに留学。L．ラスキーヌ氏に師事。
また、サウンド･スペース･アークのメンバーとして、1978年以降国内のみならずアメリカ、ヨーロッパ等の主要音楽祭にも参加し、1983年メンバーとして中島健蔵音楽賞を受賞。ソリストとしてニューヨーク、アスペン等で演奏するほか、イスラエル国際ハープ･コンクール、ジュネーヴ国際コンクールなどの審査員を務める。2001年、「篠﨑史子ハープの個展Ⅷ」により平成13年度芸術祭優秀賞、第20回中島健蔵音楽賞、サントリー芸術財団第1回佐治敬三賞を受賞。2005年日本現代芸術振興賞受賞。2007年には計3夜にわたる「篠﨑史子ハープの個展X」を開催し、第17回朝日現代音楽賞を受賞した。2012年10月に開催した「篠﨑史子ハープの個展40周年記念演奏会（XII）」で、平成24年度芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞受賞。平成25年、紫綬褒章を受章。
1972年から邦人作曲家に対しハープのための新作委嘱を続けており、その数は37曲を数える。これまでに国内外の主要オーケストラと共演する他、ランパル、ニコレ、ゴールウェイ、ガロワら世界的に著名なフルート奏者とも共演。十数枚のCDが主要レーベルより発売されている。
現在、東京音楽大学、桐朋学園大学音楽学部において、後進の指導にも当たっている。

Ayako Shinozaki graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music with honors. After studying with J. Molnar, she moved to the United States and studied under M. Grandjany. In 1970, she won third prize at the International Harp Contest in Israel.

In 1972, Shinozaki inaugurated a concert series “Portrait of Harp by Ayako Shinozaki," the last edition of which has been the 15 th concert held in 2022. In 1973, she appeared at a subscription concert of the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Seiji Ozawa, and also participated in various festivals in Europe. In 1974, granted by a fellowship by the Agency of Cultural Affairs’ Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artist, she stayed in West Berlin and Paris, studying under L. Laskine.

In addition, as a member of Sound Space Ark since 1978, Shinozaki has participated in major music festivals not only in Japan but also in the United States and Europe, receiving the Kenzo Nakajima Music Award as its member in 1983. In addition to performing in New York, Aspen etc. as a soloist, she has served as a juror at competitions such as the International Harp Contest in Israel and the Geneva International Music Competition. In 2001, for “Portrait of Harp by Ayako Shinozaki VIII" she received the Excellence Award at the National Arts Festival, the 20th Kenzo Nakajima Music Award and the first Keizo Saji Award of the Suntory Foundation for the Arts. She received the Japan Contemporary Art Promotion Award in 2005. In 2007, Shinozaki held “Portrait of Harp by Ayako Shinozaki X" lasting for three days, for which she was honored with the 17th Asahi Contemporary Music Award. In 2012, for “Portrait of Harp by Ayako Shinozaki XII – 40 th Anniversary Concert" held in October of that year, she received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Award (Geijutsu Senshō). In 2013, she received the Medal with Purple Ribbon.

She has continued commissioning new works for harp from Japanese composers since 1972, with the result that about 40 pieces have so far been premiered. She has performed with major orchestras both in Japan and abroad, as well as with world-renowned flutists such as Rampal, Nicolet, Galway, Galois etc., and has released numerous CDs on major labels. She currently teaches at the Tokyo College of Music and the Toho Gakuen School of Music.
