Pumpkin was an idol duet active from 1987~1993. They started out as backup singers/dancer for Mizutani Mari. There were 3 members all together over the course of the group's career: 城山美佳子(Shiroyama Mikako), 林千春 (Hayashi Chiharu), and 小川真澄 (Ogawa Masumi). Pledge Heart was the group's first single out of 6. They released one album entitled エルとプルーElle and Plu) and a mini album entitled Pumpkin Gakuen. Pledge heart was the theme song for the anime Anime 3 Juushi.
