專輯解說：
《賓納福皇家號》這齣輕歌劇又名《愛上船員的女子》，是吉伯特與蘇利文合作搭檔的第四部輕歌劇，而Telarc唱片公司繼之前推出他們二人的《天皇》、《彭贊斯的海盜》均獲得愛樂者熱烈青睞後，驕傲地再次邀請馬克拉斯爵士錄製這部輕歌劇。《賓納福皇家號》描寫這艘船船長的女兒愛上身份低下的船員，而船員亦愛慕著小姐，二人因身份懸殊遭父親反對，在其他船員掩護下準備私奔，而雙雙被捕，故事當然不是就這樣結束，接著有位曾當過船員褓母的女士，出面說明昔日因她之錯而讓原本出身將領之家的船員和另一嬰兒弄錯，以致誤了船員一生，至此，船員得以回復其身份，並與心愛的人共結連理
